Salim Arikat Receives 1st Division 1 offer From St. Francis Brooklyn

6’8’ Wing Salim Arikat (2023) has received his 1st Division 1 offer from St. Francis Brooklyn after a breakout performance Friday afternoon, going 5-5 from Three. Arikat who is now playing a postgraduate year at SoCal Academy, has interest from a few schools such as University of Denver, UC Riverside, and USF. The St. Francis Brooklyn offer came all of a sudden after his breakout performance.

Most East Coast mid-major division 1 schools don’t get the luxury of recruiting west coast players but with the East Coast Trip SoCal Academy is currently on, Salim was able to showcase his ability in front of many schools. SoCal Academy will be on the East Coast for nearly a month which means Salim could easily receive more schools interested in his ability.

Salim becomes the 3rd Team Rampage player to receive a division 1 Basketball scholarship offer in 2 years. The Journey will continue for Salim as more schools are expected to pursue him according to Team Rampage.
